Chapter 14 : Conclusion

With the game world constantly changing and always upgrading their system you never really have the latest and greatest.

You will need to think of your child’s individual needs rather than what new video game system on the market.  What one child likes may be too much for another.  Many children like the simplicity of the older models because they can just play their games and that’s all they want.

Don’t spend your extra money on a system that has MP3 compatibility if your child doesn’t own a MP3 player.  If your child eventually out grows their system they can always sell it and get some money for the used system to purchase towards a new one.  It is very common to see used console system and portable systems on EBay.  Utilize your resources to get the best price for your video game system
